Chasing After Jess

‘travelling – it leaves you speechless, and then turns you into the storyteller’

Via Podiensis: Week 2 Statistics

Somehow we have been doing this for 14 days, time is flying and we notice how this is starting to become second nature to us. The hills, the early morning and the constant packing (and maybe even the mud we encounter) is starting to feel like the new normal.

Here is a breakdown of Week 2:

Day 8: 24.2km

Day 9: 24.1km

Day 10: 26.2km

Day 11: 21.9km

Day 12: Rest day

Day 13: 19.8km

Day 14: 23.9km

Total: 140.2km

Thank you to everyone who has been following along so far! Your support, encouragement and comments all mean so much to us.

Greetings from Ventura, California! Thank you for this blog! I’m planning for 2026 when I turn 70. I swim in the ocean and love long walks…will begin training for longer hikes.
    Best wishes. Michelle Premeaux

I’m Jess

Hi, I’m Jess, a 24-year-old ICU Nurse from Coastal Australia. If I am not wearing scrubs, I am probably travelling, chasing adventures, and exploring those off-beaten-path destinations.

After a few gentle nudges from family and friends (okay, maybe more than a few), I’ve decided to start this blog. This will be my digital scrapbook where I capture my travels, hold onto memories, and invite you all – whether you’re a friend, family member or otherwise – to come along for the adventure on the path often less travelled.

Thanks for reading!

Jess
